Would you like to gain clarity about where are you on the Stone Ladder of Creativity and Consciousness? You will discover an insightful process to measure aliveness, creativity and conscious living. This is not a formula but a helpful tool for a more accurate reality check. A sincere desire to grow and expand must begin with an assessment of where we are and how we authentically respond to life. Responsibility in our system is the ability to respond fully to what is being given to you, after you have let it affect you. Think of responsibility as the ownership of your overall desire and will to create. How do you normally and typically respond to life? Rate yourself! Do not rate yourself based on where you'd like to be or wish you were. See below for a detailed description of the ratings. This scale is only useful if you are totally honest with yourself:

What the numbers mean: 1 Never Tries. None or almost no interest in anything whatsoever. Uncommunicative, no tenacity, you never feel responsible, a perfect victim, no success in anything or just by luck. It does not last. Hardly any creativity. Your relationship to yourself is a mixture of self pity and terrible anguish. Lots of lying and cheating, never feeling joy, careless, grief, often hateful, depressed, agony, etc. 2 Disenchanted. Very little trying, unfulfilled expectations, deep resentment, lonely, victimized, insecure about everything, forced pretending, can hurt, covers up, untrustworthy, can't focus though maybe forced to, etc. Life is not your responsibility, it is ALWAYS someone else's fault. 3 Lost Sight. Passive Aggressive, overwhelmed, negative, little focus, not liked by others, fails a lot, blames others, attacks but cowardly, no luck, does not care about self or others, mostly dishonest, not a good friend, avoids others, etc. 4 Overt Lack of Interest. Destructive, broke but feels angry, a bully, tough guy, macho male or female, righteous, rare joy or smiling, arrogant, opportunities come but no commitment or follow through. A smart ass, low success, will hurt even a friend. No accountability, etc. 5 Normal Interest. Day by day routine with some occasional involvement. Active but never more than needed. Survival issues and doubt. Still feel inadequate and insecure, some focus but not for long, has a few pals no real friends. Barely can manage self, a few ideas, all talk, can play victim but recovers. Your average person, little accomplishment in life, never supports others truthfully. Rarely takes risks not even calculated. Still projects on to others but feels weird about it. Manages that's all, etc. 6 Strong Desire. Decent commitment, means what he says, is satisfied with self, sociable, good partner, mostly cautious but will try hard, active, good ideas, feels good, hopeful, values life, not intensely brave but might try, expects more than he or she gives, manages life relatively well but nothing out of the ordinary, etc. 7 Definite Enthusiasm. Is in charge. Cares about growth. Participates often. Does what he says, learning is important, up front, frank, courageous, very good friend, will not let you down, cares, loves, honest, truthful, goes out of his way for others, healthy, solves problems, clear, empowers, loves good friends, creative. Loves to laugh. Will put him or herself on the line. 8 Great Enthusiasm. Loves life, life is a ball and you will take nothing less. Very creative most of the time, very aware. Ready for adventure. Good teacher, great friend, loves others or stays home when not in the mood. A bastion of strength. Laughs a lot. Good hearted. Corrects his or her mistakes, enriches others, very successful on all levels if they respond to it. Meets all challenges with great accountability. Very rarely down and never for too long, etc. 9 Excited as a natural "home" State. Life is all there is. Never down for long and uses melancholy for creativity, compassionate, loves all life, highly creative and intelligent, miracle worker, above the rest, very aware, dedicated to being open, considerable talent, will never quit, a true teacher, has relinquished ego and judgment or is watching negativity very closely. Totally alive, positive and empowering with others. He or she makes sure others don't settle for less than what they are worth. Life is not about self anymore. You have let go on so many levels and trust life fully. Problems are sleeping solutions. Commitment at its highest and most potent expression. 10 One with Everything Completely awake. Laughter is a must daily and it's full of heart. Empowered at all levels. Life and great things happen almost magically without lifting a finger. You have become the witness of your life because you have realized that you don't make anything happen. Life takes care of you and serves you. In tune with everyone around you. When you encounter people that don't resonate with you, you smile and just move along without looking back. Speacial people have to participate in whatever you do, you are a powerful magnet and a real inspiration to others. Your ego is in check and vanity absent or whn it shows up you watch it, smile and say thank you. Total self-expression. You literally express your true self and you don't apologize unless you made an honest mistake. Highest integrity. No games or game playing whatsoever because it is perceived as ridiculous and unnecessary. No conflict between thoughts, feelings and actions. Total alignment. People transform their lives around you and you quantum with them. You say it, it happens! Your energy level is unmatched. You profoundly get that life is to be lived and lived fully, you have no time to waste.
So, what's your number? Calculate the average rating. Life does not start to get remotely fascinating and exciting until you hit 8 but very fun starting at 7, and occasionally at 6. You can move up the ladder or down the ladder depending on who and what is around you for a period of time. A town, country or even a company and a relationship can be rated just the same using this scale. Anyone 8 and above can lift others up provided others are willing to shift their patterns of behavior honestly. The big shifting factors are: Self-Knowledge, Awareness, Emotional Intelligence, and Personal Integrity. Commitment to yourself is high. Participation only with things you love and love you back. Contribution to others and the world are seen as built-in. Forgiveness is no longer a notion you are interested in as you understand that projections are extremely dangerous and rob you of your connection to yourself. Openness, Presence and a Willingness to Transcend what is in your way is highest on your list. For instance, if you travel through life as a 7 and your partner at a 5, you will start going down; unless you become self-aware and start setting new boundaries.
